Indirect Services

Board Member: Overseeing the operations of the shelter.
Fundraising: Working at WCF fundraisers by helping to coordinate, advertise, set up, or host.
Special Events: Working at varying times with monthly projects, Domestic Violence Awareness Month activities, community projects, etc.
Information Fairs: Working at varying times at booths distributing information about WCF and domestic violence.
Public Speaking: Making presentations about domestic violence to community organization such as churches, schools, civic clubs and organizations.
Clerical Support: Typing, filing, answering telephones, bulk mailings, databases, etc.
Maintenance: Working at the shelter doing any type of maintenance or technical work such as wiring, reinforcing building, hauling, picking up large donations, etc.
