Woman of the Year 2008
On January 17th, 2009, Women & Children First honored Millie Ward as Woman of the Year. Millie was chosen for her leadership and service to others. She is president and co-founder of Stone Ward, a full service advertising agency with offices in Little Rock and Chicago. Established 25 years ago, Stone Ward promotes a "building good" philosophy that promotes giving back to the community and supporting numerous charitable causes. Millie has successfully led efforts to raise awareness of domestic violence issues in Arkansas.
