This group will help you to learn about healthy relationships by sharing similar experiences with other survivors. We explore the Cycle of Violence, Causes and Types of Abuse, and the Power and Control Wheel. The goal is to help you recognize abusive patterns and rebuild your sense of self-worth.

For victims of violence or abuse, active alcohol or drug abuse makes it harder to escape a violent situation or to heal from past abuse. Alcohol and drugs tend to numb feelings making it hard to recognize and name unhealthy behavior. This group will help you rediscover what you think, feel, and believe as you create your own path to recovery.
