Meet Tiffany – WCF Board Member

For Tiffany Robinson, being a part of community organizations is something that has always been a part of her life. Growing up, her family taught her by example that giving back to the community was a normal part of everyday life. So when she and her husband, Daniel, got married, there was never the question of if they were going to give back, but who they would like to support. Over the years, she has been involved with quite a few local non-profit organizations, but WCF has had a special place in her heart for several years now.

Tiffany first became involved with WCF about 8 years ago, as the Peacekeepers was being formed. She had been a part of several other young professional groups in Little Rock and knew what had worked well and what didn’t! Tiffany’s mom, Cindy Murphy, was a WCF Board member at the time, so she was familiar with the organization but not well versed on the subject matter of domestic violence. The more she learned about the services offered by WCF, as well as the success stories, the more impressed she was. She and her husband, Daniel, were part of the inaugural group of Peacekeepers and have been actively involved ever since. In addition to currently serving on the Board of Directors, Tiffany is still an active member of the Peacekeepers.

Over the last 8 years, Tiffany has played a large role in the success of so many WCF events, as well as helping to form and maintain the Peacekeepers. One of the most gracious hosts in town, she is always willing to host committee meetings, Peacekeeper meetings, or fundraisers at her home. Tiffany has constantly stepped into a leadership role for needed events over the year – she has helped lead the Peacekeepers, worked on event committees for Vegas on the Rocks and Caribbean Cabaret, hosted and chaired Caribbean Cabaret several times, and started and chaired Pop Up Shop. She is constantly giving her time and talents to make WCF stronger, and continues to do so because she knows that it helps to make a change in the lives of the shelter guests. “I love being involved because it is an organization that not only changes the lives of the people it serves, but it changes generations for years to come”, she said. “We are able to witness the cycle of domestic violence ending, one family at a time. And that feels good!”.

Tiffany, a Little Rock native, works as the Business Manager for Barbara/Jean Ltd. Her husband, Daniel was born and raised in Fort Smith, but the couple moved to Little Rock after graduating from Hendrix College. He works for Arvest Bank as a Vice President – Regional Investment Officer. The couple is expecting their first child, a boy, in November.
