The Carroll Mortgage Group, Inc. Donates $7,500 to Women & Children First

The Carroll Mortgage Group, Inc. (TCMGI) recently selected Women & Children First as the recipient of a $7,500 donation from their parent company, Envoy Mortgage. The funds were donated through Envoy Mortgage’s Charity Award$ Challenge.

Beverly Jordan, Vice President and Regional Account Manager of Envoy Mortgage, and her colleague Yvette Haley, presented the donation to Women and Children First in February, along with Patricia Carroll, wife of TCMGI founder and CEO Jim Carroll, Sr., and Jim Carroll, Jr., Executive Vice President. Sarah Pollack, WCF Development Director, accepted the donation alongside board members Gloria Redman and Sandra Storment.

In 1996 Jim Carroll, Sr. made the decision that he could make mortgage loans like the larger banks, while giving his clients the personal, friendly and positive experience that they deserve. Jim’s knowledge and experience in the mortgage industry, his law degree and his commitment to getting people into home loans that work for them is proven. Upon that foundation, TCMGI has grown to a company of more than 25 employees and 3 locations.

Women & Children First is grateful to Envoy Mortgage’s generosity and commitment to community support, as well as TCMGI for selecting us as the reception of the gift. It is because of generous donations like this that WCF is able to continue to empower women and their children to live independently and free from domestic violence by providing crisis intervention, safe shelter, social/legal advocacy and support services.
